The ground rules for this site.
By using apexwindowcoverings.com or our tools at tools.apexwindowcoverings.com (together, “the site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.
1. Estimates, quotes, and the online tools
- Online estimates are ranges, not offers. Any figure produced by our estimate tools is a preliminary range based on the sizes and counts you enter. It is not a quote and does not bind either of us.
- A written quote follows an in-person measure. Prices depend on the actual glass, frame, access, and film chosen. Only a written quote signed by Apex is an offer, and only a signed contract is an agreement to do work.
- The visualizer is a simulation. Film previews are close, not exact. Real film looks different with the sun angle, time of day, glass type, and interior lighting. We recommend viewing physical samples on your own glass before choosing.
- Performance figures (light transmission, heat and glare reduction, UV rejection) are manufacturer-published specifications for the film products named. Results on your windows vary with glass type, orientation, and conditions.
2. Licensing
Apex Window Coverings is a California business. Our contractor license status is shown in the footer of every page and on every written quote and contract. Work that requires a contractor license is performed only under a valid license.
3. Your photos and content
Photos and details you upload remain yours. By submitting them you give Apex permission to use them to prepare your estimate and plan your job. We will not use them in marketing without your separate written permission. Please only upload photos you have the right to share.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t submit false information, use the site to send spam or automated requests, attempt to access parts of the site or its providers you aren’t meant to, or interfere with how it works. We may block access from anyone who does.
5. Our content
The text, design, illustrations, animations, and tools on this site belong to Apex Window Coverings or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Product names (for example, film brands and series names) belong to their manufacturers and are used to identify the products we install.
6. No warranties for the site itself
The site and its tools are provided “as is.” We work to keep them accurate and available, but we don’t promise they will be error-free or uninterrupted. This section is about the website only — it does not limit any warranty on installed products or workmanship, which are set out in your written contract and the manufacturer’s warranty.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent California law allows, Apex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on an online estimate or visualizer preview. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Links to other sites
Links to manufacturers, suppliers, or other sites are provided for convenience. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Changes and contact
