What we install

Solar, privacy, anti-graffiti and security film, plus shades, blinds and drapery — measured, specified and installed by the owner. The performance figures below are the manufacturer's published specs; we confirm the right film for your glass on site.

Solar & Exterior Film

Homes, storefronts and office glass — installed inside or out

Heat, glare and fade control — applied inside or out. Most of our customers start with SP e-Lite 70i★ Most popular — you won't see it on the glass, and it still cuts about half the heat. When performance is the priority, e-Lite 45i is the best all-around film in the line — more heat rejection than anything short of the darkest ceramic, and nearly twice the glare cut of 70i, while still keeping almost half the light. The PerLite Ceramic line covers the steps between.

Frost & Decorative

Conference rooms, bathrooms, glass partitions, street-facing offices

Privacy without losing daylight — light passes through, sightlines don't.

DS Matte 2 mil — frosted privacy film. Light passes, detail doesn't. Blocks 94% of UV and rejects about 27% of solar heat: it is a privacy product first, so where a room needs privacy and heat control we pair it with a solar film or pick a different route. Etched, gradient, fluted and linen decorative patterns are available too — samples come to the measure.

Anti-Graffiti

Storefronts, lobbies and any glass that faces the sidewalk

A sacrificial layer over the glass. Tagged or scratched, the film comes off and the glass underneath is untouched.

AG Clear 4 mil, or 6 mil for heavy-duty glass — an optically clear sacrificial layer, about 90% light through, designed to peel cleanly. Tagged or scratched, we strip the film and lay a new one; the glass underneath is never touched. Replacing the film costs far less than replacing the pane — the exact figure is on your quote, not guessed here.

Security Film

Storefronts, schools, offices and homes — break-in and impact protection

Bonded to the inside face of the glass — the same pane can carry anti-graffiti film on the outside. Under impact the pane breaks but holds together instead of coming apart.

SF Clear 4 · 8 · 12 · 15 mil — 87–89% light through. 4 and 8 mil are tested to EN 12600 (2B2), 12 mil to GSA blast Level C, 15 mil to GSA Level D and Miami-Dade hurricane. What the film does: hold broken glass together so the pane doesn't come apart. What keeps the pane in the opening is the attachment system anchoring the film to the frame — a properly anchored 4 mil outperforms an unanchored 8 mil, so we spec the anchoring with the film, never the film alone. No film makes a window unbreakable, and none of these are bullet-resistant.

Window Coverings

Every room, every window — residential and light commercial

Solar-screen and roller shades for glare, cellular honeycomb for insulation, zebra dual shades for view-or-privacy on demand, wood and faux-wood blinds, shutters, drapery and soft treatments — plus motorization, battery or hardwired. Measured, specified and installed by the owner.

Most companies do the glass or the window. Apex does both — film for the daytime heat, a covering for night privacy and the light you want to shape. One measure visit, one install, one layered answer.

Sourced multi-brand and specified to the window. No pricing published: coverings are measured and quoted in-home.
